A positive outlook goes a long way but what happens when you haven’t factored in time for practice? Building in easy time for you to unwind and de-stress, to stretch and respect yourself is quite challenging for some people. Dedicated time for you to focus on the comfort of speaking, singing or expressing.
Your relationship with your voice is often a complex one. Feeling fully free to sing or speak at your best when it really counts, can be affected by many external and internal factors. Our voices also go through changes as much as the rest of our bodies do as we age.
Vocal health has been a massive part of Leigh’s journey after a suspected injury lead her to the ENT clinic after a series of gigs in 2008. Shortly after seeing her vocal folds vibrating on a big-screen TV, her journey into vocal science and research began.
The Coaching Cabin serves a variety of purposes as it is a highly flexible space for individual and group sessions.
Regular weekly or fortnightly appointments are available periodically.
Regular clients are invited to participate in productions and fundraisers to put their performance skills into practice with an audience.
For those who want to develop their Vocal Freedom and use their voices in performance, the Vocal Freedom Showcases are an exciting prospect.
The events and showcases are suitable for actors, singers, presenters, public speakers, film-makers, photographers, comedians, dance acts and musicians.
Your lessons are split across 3 x 12 week terms.

After phone or email contact, a date and time for an initial assessment lesson is made. When a date and time have been agreed, you will be sent an email confirmation. All payments are made online using paypal or credit/debit card or via BACS. No cash payments.
We will discuss frequency of lessons to suit your vocal goals and budget as part of the assessment.
It is not necessary to have had any other voice lessons or professional training to take up an interest in developing your voice. I welcome beginners of all ages. You already bring the most important thing in the space with you, your voice.
Over my teaching career, I have worked with hundreds of clients who have achieved plentiful success in performance, the audition and exam room, gained places at prestigious colleges and featured on TV programmes The Voice, Britains Got Talent, America’s Got Talent, The X-Factor and Starstruck, as well as performed in local community and professional theatre. My clients include professional voice users who have developed their skills and practice but will have sessions in the run up to a tour or recording.
Group Course and Workshop fees are paid for at the time of booking and are non transferable. Group Workshops are 100% refundable with 4+ weeks notice, 50% refund for 2-4 weeks, 25% refund for 1-2 weeks, 0% refund less than 7 days.
In the event you need to cancel a booking, please provide as much notice as possible and we will reschedule to a more convenient date and time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are non-transferable.
